Perfect Ink Media is a modern and dynamic Hong Kong-based agency specialising in content planning, creative copywriting and high-quality translation. Established in 2013 by Paul Kay, the award-winning former Managing Editor of Hong Kong Tatler and co-founder of Time Out Hong Kong, Perfect Ink Media has built a strong reputation for fast, accurate and on-brand work by providing copywriting, editing and translation services that match the very highest standards of journalistic excellence in Hong Kong and beyond.

In addition to our Hong Kong team, we work with an ever-growing network of writers, editors and translators around the world, giving us access to specialists and experts in a broad range of categories, from finance and technology to property and lifestyle. While we specialise in English and Chinese, we also provide copywriting and translation services in a number of other languages on request.

Paul Kay, Founder & Managing Director

Paul Kay is an award-winning editor, journalist and the founder of Perfect Ink Media. In a career spanning more than 20 years, including over 15 years in Hong Kong media, Paul has built a sterling reputation for creating timely and engaging content across a spectrum of titles, ranging from luxury to business to custom publishing. As Managing Editor of Hong Kong Tatler, co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Time Out Hong Kong, and an editor and writer for the South China Morning Post, Paul has launched, run and revamped a variety of successful titles, and now employs the same high standards to oversee the creation of compelling content and potent copywriting for brands, publishers and corporate clients. The author of the training courses 'What Do Editors Want?' and 'The Essentials of Writing', Paul is also known for his work as a media and PR trainer and as a media strategist for brands and events.
